JPEG photos can contain more than visible pixels. EXIF metadata may record the camera or phone model, capture time, editing software, exposure details and sometimes location coordinates.

If a JPEG contains GPS coordinates or a detailed timestamp, that information may disclose more than you intended when the original file is shared.
