View EXIF metadata
Inspect supported camera, timestamp and GPS fields in a JPEG before changing the file.
Open EXIF viewerChoose the page that matches the actual task: inspect all supported EXIF fields, check only GPS/location metadata, create a broad cleaned JPEG copy, or use a focused privacy workflow for device information and mobile photos.

Open EXIF viewerCreate a cleaned JPEG copy with supported EXIF, GPS, XMP, IPTC-style metadata and comments removed.
Remove EXIF metadataUse the location-focused checker when your main question is whether supported latitude/longitude fields are present.
Check photo locationUse the GPS-specific workflow when location metadata is the exact privacy concern rather than every EXIF field.
Remove GPS metadataFocus on supported device, lens, software, timestamp and capture-context fields.
Remove camera infoProcess multiple supported JPEG, PNG and WebP files and download cleaned copies together.
Batch clean photosInspect supported PNG tEXt, zTXt, iTXt, eXIf and tIME chunks before sharing.
Check PNG metadataCreate a cleaned PNG copy with supported textual and EXIF-style metadata chunks removed.
Remove PNG metadataInspect supported EXIF and XMP metadata inside a WebP file before distribution.
Check WebP metadataCreate a cleaned WebP copy with supported EXIF and XMP chunks removed while preserving the encoded image payload handled by the workflow.
Remove WebP metadataPNG, WebP and JPEG do not store metadata in exactly the same container structures, so MetWipe keeps their checkers and cleaners format-specific instead of pretending one generic parser covers every image format.
Phone images are not all stored the same way. Use the iPhone EXIF privacy guide or Android EXIF privacy guide for device-specific sharing considerations. MetWipe currently documents supported JPEG workflows and does not claim native HEIC cleanup unless explicitly stated.
Use the EXIF viewer for a broad look at supported JPEG metadata. Use the GPS checker when location is the specific concern. Use the EXIF remover when you want a cleaned JPEG copy, and use the format-specific PNG or WebP workflows for those containers rather than treating every image as JPEG.
For safer sharing, start by inspecting the photo, use the GPS-focused check if location matters, then create and verify a cleaned JPEG copy. Metadata cleanup does not remove faces, signs, addresses or landmarks visible in the pixels.
