MetWipe cleans supported OOXML core document properties inside PPTX files locally and verifies the rebuilt package.
OPEN FREE TOOLThe supported file is processed in the browser without an application file-upload endpoint.
Your original file is left untouched and a separate cleaned copy is generated.
MetWipe re-opens the output and checks supported metadata structures before reporting success.
PPTX uses an OOXML package. MetWipe cleans supported core document properties and supported Company/Manager fields. Slides, notes, comments and embedded content require their own privacy review.
Use a non-sensitive deck with a known author property. Clean and download a copy, reopen it and inspect document properties. Also check a slide with an image and one with text. Review speaker notes and off-slide objects separately before sending the deck.
Removing the author property does not erase a name printed on a title slide or an internal note. Older PPT files, encrypted packages and unsupported archive methods can fail. Keep the original and check the actual exported copy.
Check that you selected the downloaded copy rather than the original. Read any error before retrying. Try a smaller, non-sensitive file in the same format to distinguish a file-specific issue from a browser limitation. If the problem persists, describe the format, browser and error through Contact.
